Short biography

After completing primary school in Trogir and secondary school in Split, he enrolled in philosophical-theological studies at the Catholic Faculty of Theology in Split in 1998 and graduated in theology from the same faculty in 2004. In 2008, he began postgraduate studies in Sacred Scripture in Rome, first at the Pontifical Biblical Institute, where he earned a Master of Sacred Scripture in 2013. That same year, he continued doctoral studies at the Pontifical Gregorian University, where he successfully defended his doctoral thesis in 2022. Since 2017, he has been employed at the Catholic Faculty of Theology in Split as a teaching assistant, first at the Chair of Old Testament Scripture and since 2018 at the Chair of New Testament Scripture, where he teaches several courses. He is also active as an external associate at the Theological-Catechetical Institute in Mostar, teaching several New Testament courses.

Dr. Lovrić’s research interests focus on the New Testament writings, specifically the Pauline and Synoptic traditions. He has published several scholarly articles in this field and regularly participates in national and international symposia as a listener or lecturer, contributing within his area of interest
