Short biography

Gina Šparada is a postdoctoral researcher at the Catholic Faculty of Theology, University of Split, where she has been employed since the 2016/2017 academic year, following completion of a licentiate in clinical and community psychology. In 2020, she defended her doctoral dissertation on continuing bonds in grief (an empirical study examining correlations between various psychological constructs and internalized and externalized modes of grieving). She has designed and led three lifelong learning programs: ESK – Emotional-Social Competencies, KOLO – Cooperative Learning, and logotherapy workshops, as well as Healthy and Unhealthy Spirituality. She is a counselor in integrative Gestalt pedagogy and holds a diploma in Theme-Centered Interaction. In collaboration with Dr. Zdenka Mrdeša-Rogulj, MD, she leads the Club of Treated Gambling Addicts (KLOK) at the Split City Red Cross Society.
